How it works

The first click, on the target in the middle, starts the test. Then a new target appears at a random place each time you hit one, 30 in all. The time of each target runs from your previous hit, and the average is the 30 times added up and divided by 30.

A click inside the box that misses the target counts as a miss. Your accuracy is your hits divided by all your clicks: 30 hits and 3 misses is 30 ÷ 33, about 91%.

Speed and accuracy

Rushing gives more misses, and every miss lowers your accuracy without making you faster, because the target stays where it was until you hit it. Watch both numbers when you compare your results.

The cursor here is not your game's

The pointer on this page moves with your system's mouse or touchpad settings, not with the sensitivity of a game. Compare your results with each other on the same device and settings.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a miss?

A click inside the box that doesn't land on the target. Clicks outside the box don't count.

Can I use it on a phone?

Yes: tap the targets. The box is sized to fit the screen.

Is my result saved?

Your best average time per target is kept in your own browser. It isn't sent anywhere.

Can I play with the keyboard?

You can start the test and hit the target with Enter when it's selected, but the test is made for a pointer: a mouse, a touchpad or a finger.
